L l

“Lose all limits, learn love, live luminously.”

The teachingSpirit revealed to me that this letter has to do with the qualities of light, particularly its hyperconnective aspects. Whereas‘C’ has to do with ‘the way light propagates’ or moves, ‘L’ has to do with light as a transport that can surpass all barriers by rising above them. The shape of the majuscule is reminiscent of a column supporting a bridge (a way over or across), and also of a leg with its foot — indicative of travel. ‘L’ also indicates departure, or a change of character in circumstance. Though many nounal words indicate singularity (unless ‘ness’ or ‘s’ is added), ‘L’ has a somewhat peculiar relation which implies ‘straight’ in a way that is signified by its shape.

‘L’ is associated with ‘things above’ or ‘raising something’ to a higher position, perspective, or speed. The majuscule is additionally inferential of ‘two dimensions’ — length and breadth.
