Throughout history and herstory and ourStory people have sacrificed their lives and desires, or persued them ardently - in order to locate and share a set of treasures that their hearts knew existed - regardless of 'popular wisdom' to the contrary. Yet the infamous nature of certain peculiar cognitive weaknesses is easily exploited or elaborated in human populations. And, interestingly, it doesn't require 'conspiracies' for this to occur - plentiful though they may in fact be. All that is required, is for people to become complacent enough to accept business as usual. Even when that business begins first to edge toward atrocity - and still - when it is rushing headlong into genocide or ecocide. Simularly, there are those whose work, art, hearts minds and efforts generally oppose these momentums. They are cognitive activists. And they don't need us to credential them. Their fruit is their credential. But this page is dedicated to those whose fruit was rejected. Who were judged, tortured, medicated, imprisoned, and denied their human birthrights because they spoke out or differed dramatically from the norm or even...because they had a vision...that in essence denied... the cages we together build and struggle within. |

We honor and
support those who, of like mind and heartful inspiration, believe in and
work for the return of cognitive birthrights to the common people. These
birthrights belong in our living hands, not behind objects bearing price
tags which are as absurd as they are vicious in their commerce and outcomes. Our humble thanks to all those, present, past and future - who commit themselves to the causes of creativity, liberty, and cognitive activism - in whatever domain their unique experessions may arise, find purchase, or flower..
The words we
currently use and explore as speakers of english are far more interesting
and powerful than our literatures hint at. Although it's difficult to
point at precisely what I mean, let's start by saying this: games with
words are powerful cognitive foundations that can set in motion inward
cognitive developments and momentums that are totally unexpected, and
would appear unrelated to the 'games' that spawned their 'precursors'.
This is one of the reasons poetry and song are incredibly important cognitive nurturances. Another important thing to understand is that the lineage of the words, and the letter-shapes - is a study that could pay off in scalar domains miraculous perceptive ability. As unlikely as it sounds, the stories of these symbols - and of our species' acquisition of symbolic ability - is quite possibly the single most important domain of human research - and one that the common person is generally unfamililar with even the most basic of the constituents, characters and momentums of.It can factually be said that if one has gathered the necessary skill, one can read all possible books in the positions, relationships, lettershapes, and inventable maps of any page from any book. This kind of assertion will earn one rapid dismissal - but the specificity of the claim is not, in this case what is important. It is instead, the noticing of the potentials for totally unexplored techniques in human cognitive activity. And to say this domain is rich would be an absurd understatement. If we concentrate
upon the absurdity of the new, it is extremely difficult to notice that
the tools we're focussing to produce that result, are often, in themselves,
absurd.
